From the PLoP 2006 writers' workshop:
  • Give more examples of value objects.
  • Motivation section buries problem and solution.
  • Too Java centric.
  • UML diagrams would help.
  • Define what a value object is.
  • Discuss what a value type is earlier.
  • Emphasize no identity aspect earlier.
  • Use SSN as an example.
  • Have structure diagram in motivation section.
  • Coding style: First compare, than subtract.
  • Add sequence diagram to show interactions.
  • Syntactic sugar (add vs +) is important! Not really like "built-in".
